AP LAWCET 2017 Exam Pattern

AP LAWCET 2017 is the Andhra Pradesh state common entrance exam for admission into 3 year or 5 year LL.B graduate law courses/colleges present in Andhra Pradesh conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Hyderabad. AP LAWCET 2017 entrance exam is for evaluating the ability and aptitude of the candidate to pursue the study of law.

AP LAWCET 2017 Exam Pattern:                                     Duration: 1½ Hours (90 min)

1) Mode of exam: Offline i.e. Pen & Paper based test

2) Exam is conducted for 1½ hour usually in the morning session 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

3) The question paper consists of a total of 120 questions.

4) Maximum marks of the question paper are 120 marks.

5) Each question carries 1 mark.

6) Questions will be in Objective type including multiple choice questions, matching items.

7) Question paper will be in both English and Telugu.

8) Question Paper is divided in 3 parts General Knowledge, Mental ability, current affairs and aptitude for study of law

For questions in Part-C Aptitude for Study of Law candidate should have elementary knowledge of the basic principles of the Law and Constitution of India.

For 3 year law course, candidate’s standard is expected to be Degree Level

For 5 year law course, candidate’s standard is expected to be Intermediate Level
