Tamilnadu 12th Results 2018 | TN HSC Results 2018

Tamilnadu 12th Results 2018 will be announced by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamilnadu in the second week of May 2018. The Tamilnadu HSC (Class 12) exams for all streams is being conducted from 1st March to 20th April, 2018. More than 8 lakh students are appearing for the TN HSC Exam 2018 across various exam centres in the state. To check the TN HSC Results, the candidates will have to enter their roll no. Aspirant will then be able to check whether they have pass or not and also the marks obtained by them.

The overall pass percentage in the last five years has been increasing consistently, which is a good sign.

The total number of students appearing for the exam has also increased during these years, except in the year 2016 when it declined by 59,178.

About Tamil Nadu Education Department

The Tamil Nadu Education Department was established about 100 years ago to conduct examination for the HSC and the SSC during the British era. Later, after Independence, it was formed in 1978 as a separate department to monitor and regulate secondary school education in the state and to conduct yearly examinations to evaluate the academic performance of students through Tamil Nadu 12th Board Examination and Tamil Nadu 10th Board Examination.
