Founded in 2008 by Shri Shantilalji Badjate, the S.B. Jain Institute of Technology, Management & Research is an autonomous institute affiliated with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University in Nagpur. Both the AICTE and the NAAC "A" Grade have accepted SBJITMR.

The University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, has granted the Institute Autonomous Status. The Institute is self-financed. This institute provides a variety of B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA programs.
