The Hindustan College of Arts & Science was founded by the late Educationist, Philanthropist and great visionary Dr K.C.G. Verghese in the year 1995. It is situated in the city of Chennai, specifically in the Padur locality, which is in the Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu.
It's a unit of the Hindustan Group of Institutions, affiliated with the University of Madras and is accorded the Minority Status by National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, Govt. of India. HCAS also have NAAC accreditation of “B++” grade and it has been given the status of 'University with Potential for Excellence’ by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Hindustan College of Arts and Science offers UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes like B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.A, BSW, M.Sc, M.A, M.Com, MSW, and PhD in various specializations.
