The School of Management Sciences, Varanasi was founded in 1995. The college has received an "A" grade from NAAC and Autonomous Status from UGC. The UG courses are associated with M.G. Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi, and the institute is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.
The AICTE-approved Post Graduate Diploma in Management with Human Resource, Marketing, and Finance concentrations was first unveiled in 1995, marking the program's beginning. After that, it began the 2006 AICTE-approved PGDM (International Business) program. Before this, it started the PGDM (Retail Management) program anew, which was approved by the AICTE in 2007, according to corporate requirements.

It includes every piece of electronic gear and additional instructional tools needed for the prestigious academic and professional gatherings.
Faculty Room- The Institute provides each faculty member with a well-appointed, fully air-conditioned faculty room that is equipped with a dual-core personal computer and 24/7 internet access to enhance their learning and growth.
Cafeteria- There are two distinct cafeterias on campus, one for workers and the other for students. Both cafeterias serve high-quality snacks and food products from dawn to dusk. They can accommodate up to 200 people on seats at once. Additionally, self-vending devices are being installed for the benefit of the staff and students.
Hostels- The SMS provides comfortable and well-furnished hostel accommodation both for male and female students separately. Facilities for indoor games and recreation are also available on the hostel premises
