DIETCET – District Institutes of Education and Training Common Entrance Test
Is teaching your passion? Then here you go with the DIETCET exam which on passing out makes you eligible for the Secondary Grade Teaching Posts in Government Schools of Andhra Pradesh. Good news is that intermediate is the minimum qualification to apply for DIETCET common entrance test. Earlier known as TTC (Teacher Certificate Course), the DIETCET exam is conducted every year by the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh.
DIETCET which on passing allows the candidates get admissions into D.Ed (Diploma in Education) course, has a good demand and competition. The D.Ed course is for duration of 2 years. The DIETCET notification for the academic year has been released and candidates should apply online. The exam paper consists of multiple choice questions.
Eligibility for DIETCET :
Candidates applying for DIETCET should be the nationals of India only.
The local/non-local requirements as laid down in the AP Educational Institutions should be satisfied by the candidates
The minimum age limit for DIETCET exam is 17 years
Candidates having passed or appeared for the final year exams of 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized institute are eligible for DIETCET entrance exam.
DIETCET Syllabus:
The syllabus covered for the DIETCET exam is the standard of class VIII to X of AP state syllabus. Along with this candidates are also required to prepare in the areas of General Knowledge. The entrance exam has 3 parts:
Part 1 - General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude Test
Part 2 - General English and Telugu/Urdu/Tamil
Part 3 - Mathematics, Physical sciences, Biological Sciences and Social Studies
