GPAT – Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test
The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara conducts GPAT , an all Indian Examination on behalf of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi for admissions into M. Pharmacy courses. Till the year 2010, the GATE score was accepted for admission in Masters Programme in Pharmacy, and for giving scholarships to pharmacy graduates along with the graduates of engineering. But to large number of candidates appearing for GATE, operating all the courses have become a problem and hence the AICTE planned to organize and conduct Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) for pharmacy students from the academic year 2010 -2011.
Candidates can apply for GPAT only on online but the GPAT examination is Paper-pencil based. The exam duration is 3 hours with a single paper consisting of 150 questions. Each correct answer is awarded three marks where as each wrong answer will result in deduction of one mark from your total score. No attempts, no score.

Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates) and students who are in their final year of B. Pharmacy course are eligible for appearing in GPAT exam.
