CPMEE - Common Pre Medical Entrance Examination
Formed by private unaided medical and dental colleges of Uttarakhand, Association of Combined Entrance Examination (ACEE) is responsible for conducting the Common Pre Medical Entrance Examination (CPMEE). Candidates passing CPMEE are offered admissions in MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery) and BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) courses.
The CPMEE 2012 notification is released by ACEE and now it’s the turn and time of the candidates applying for CPMEE to ensure they never miss a thing regarding this medical entrance exam. And here are for you the important dates, deadlines, eligibility criteria and syllabus of the CPMEE exam.
Eligibility Criteria for CPMEE :
Minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December 2012
Eligibility for MBBS/BDS/BAMS
With Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as main subjects, Candidates must have passed intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board to be eligible for CPMEE exam.
A minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together is required for candidates taking the CPMEE exam
For SC/ST/OBC, the minimum cut off percentage is 40
Eligibility for BHMS
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and biology as the main subjects.
The final year students are also eligible to apply for CPMEE
CPMEE Syllabus:
The exam is held in two sections of which Physics and Chemistry comprises the first section and Biology forms the second.
