Every year on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, one of the universities of Andhra Pradesh conducts the Integrated Common Entrance Exam for admissions in to the MBA and MCA courses of all universities in AP. This year the ICET is being conducted by the Kakatiya University, Warangal which so far conducted the ICET exam twice in the years of 2005 and 2006 respectively.
The competition for the ICET exam is very high as lakhs of students apply every year and also since it is the common entrance exam for MBA as well as MCA and hence candidates aspiring to get into MBA and MCA through this entrance exam have to prepare and follow a well organized study plan. Also one has to practice filling the circles in the OMR sheet, as inappropriate filling leads to losing marks even if the answer is correct. The most important fact of ICET exam, students have to consider is the time frame of the exam.
Eligibility Criteria for ICET :
Candidates applying for the ICET exam should be nationals of India.
MBA aspirants should pass the Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university with a minimum of 50%
MCA aspirants should pass the Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university with a minimum of 50% with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
Candidates appearing for the final exam of the Degree are also eligible for ICET
