NEET - National Eligibility cum Entrance Test
Dreaming of becoming a doctor Then here is the chance for you to grab the seat in a medical college in India. The common entrance test through which you can avail this chance has been announced and hence get all ready to prove yourselves in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test . This NEET exam is the common entrance exam for undergraduate medical courses in all MBBS colleges of India.
The number of seats that can be sought after through this all India medical entrance exam are 42,000 seats. Therefore applicants are advised to prepare well and hard to stand out in this heavy competition. The NEET common entrance test will be conducted by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The plans for conducting the National Eligibility Test for undergraduates to get admissions into post graduate and super specialty courses are under consideration and will be implemented soon.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET :
A minimum of 50% in the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the subjects from a recognized institute is the eligibility criteria for candidates applying for NEET exam.
In case of reserved category, the minimum percentage of 40% is required for this medical entrance.
NEET Syllabus:
The NEET exam syllabus is taken from the subjects of 10+2 and therefore students are advised to prepare thoroughly for the 10+2 exams which also will help you in preparing for the NEET exam.
The subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
