IIT-JAM (IIT Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. )
IIT-JAM is Established through an Act of Parliament, Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) are of national importance and well known for valued education in the fields of engineering and science, and research in frontier areas. With well equipped modern laboratories and other technology, IITs aim at building a sound foundation of knowledge and follow excellence. These Indian Institutes of Technology from the academic year 2004-05 started conducting JAM, Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. whose objective is to provide admissions into IIT's various courses like M.Sc., Joint M.Sc. Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual degree and other Post-Bachelor's degree programmes.
Admissions in to the above mentioned courses of the IITs is based on the single performance in JAM exam which is expected to be a benchmark for under-graduate level science education in the country. The JAM 2013 exam is open for all the nationals, either an Indian or a Foreigner without any age restriction.

Eligibility Criteria for JAM :
Candidates appearing for final year of qualifying exam or passed qualifying exam are eligible for appearing in JAM 2013.
Foreign nationals should satisfy the rules and regulations of the Institutes admitting them in to courses.
