Counselling process for IITs and NITs 2016: As the joint advising process for admission to different Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NIITs) and other government foundations have arrived at an end, it has been seen that numerous seats are as yet lying empty in different universities.

According to reports, 73 opportunities are left in the IITs, incorporating 38 seats in IIT (Banaras Hindu University).
Further, in NIT-Surat, there are still 115 seats, while Jalandhar grounds has 110 empty seats.
