Kadapa DEO A. Subba Reddy sealed two private schools, Bhashyam and Gautam model schools, in Kadapa with the help of police and served notices on Keshav Reddy, TGM techno schools and Aakash school here, for taking up admissions without permission from the authorities.
The DEO inspected the records in the schools and seized them by locking up the main entrance following protests by SFI activists against collection of exorbitant fee, taking up admissions without relevant permissions, and renaming schools as e-smart, techno, e-techno, and IIT without official permission for such names. Earlier SFI district secretary G. Srinivasulu and functionaries pulled down the banners in front of Bhashyam school at ITI circle, Gautam model school at Balaji colony, Keshav Reddy and Aakash schools and burnt the banners protesting against admitting students without permission of officials concerned.
