Eamcet aspirants will have to wait for another fortnight for their results. The state government on Monday decided to announce Eamcet results on June 30. This will be after the Inter Board releases the results of students who have applied for recounting/revaluation of answer scripts of supplementary exams. Despite strong protests from students and parents over holding up the Eamcet results of over 3.5 lakh students just for a few Inter students who had applied for revaluation or recounting, the government remained unmoved. Since 25 per cent weightage is being given for Inter marks while determining ranks in Eamcet, officials of the higher education department cannot announce Eamcet results until they receive the Inter results CD from the Inter board. Eamcet results have been delayed by more than a month now.
