Seth G. L. Bihani S. D. College of Technical Education (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Research) was established in the session 2000-2001 under the patronage of its parent body G.L. Bihani, S.D. Shiksha Trust. The Institute is located in the city in a sprawling campus spread over in fifty bighas of land. The institute is recognized by PCI and affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Science (RUHS) and is imparting both D.Pharm. and B.Pharm courses. It encompasses eighteen well equipped laboratories, highly sophisticated analytical Lab.industrial pharmacy lab to meet GMP guidelines having latest equipments. The students are also provided opportunities for extracurricular activities by participating in sports, in declamation contests and seminars. The students are also exposed to latest knowledge by inviting eminent guest scientists in pharmacy. All efforts have been made to create a very healthy and academic environment to help student to grow and think independently. The institute has also created infrastructure to carry out research and many faculty members are pursuing for their doctoral degree and their research papers have been published/accepted for publication in journals of high repute.
