About L.M. College of Pharmacy:

L. M. College of Pharmacy (LMCP) provides premier pharmaceutical education in the industrial heart of Gujarat. Established in 1947 by the Ahmedabad Education Society (AES), it was the first pharmacy college in India to be founded with the aim of catering to the growing pharmaceutical sector. It was built on a significant donation from the family of Seth Shri Lallubhai Motilal, after whom the college is named.

UGC-recognized and accredited with a high ranking in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), LMCP holds the 45th rank in the Pharmacy category for 2025. It is an autonomous institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the AICTE, and is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU). Eligibility for B.Pharm requires a 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. For M.Pharm, a valid GPAT score is preferred, though Non-GPAT candidates can appear for the PGCET.
