About N.S.S. College, Manjeri:
N. S. S. College, Manjeri is a Govt. Aided Arts & Science College of Nair Service Society. The College is affiliated to University of Calicut and is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Malappuram District. The idea to start a College at Manjeri was conceived by Shri. Pulikkat Achuthan Nair. The meeting to discuss the possibility of a College under Nair Service Society was attended by Shri. Mannath Padmanabhan and a committee constituted for this.
