The Regional Campus at Panmana began its operation in 1994 with few Sanskrit courses and an integrated B.Ed Programme. Panmana being a village of great historical relevance as the birth place to several eminent personalities as well as the memorial of the legendary Sanskrit philosopher and social reformer Brahmasree Chattambi Swami Thiruvadikal, it also serves as a merging place of Dravidian-Sanskrit Renaissance thoughts. The RC offers four post-graduate courses namely MA in Sanskrit Vedanta, MA Malayalam, MA English and MA Hindi, and one under graduate course in Sanskrit Vedanta.
