Govt. Maharani Laxmi Bai Girls P.G. College (formerly known as Govt. New Girls P.G.College ) is one of the prominent colleges in Indore situated in the Kila Bhavan (the Fort) which has a glorious historical origin. The fort was constructed in 1860 by the Holkar State. Starting with a modest strength of 28 students, it has grown to over 2500 students across faculties such as Arts, Commerce, Science, Home Science, and Library Science. Committed to excellence, the institution offers specialized career-oriented courses along with modern facilities, including comprehensive computer training and niche programs like Library and Information Science, Biotechnology, Bio-informatics, Office Management, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
