In the multidisciplinary environment of KIIT Deemed to be University, KIIT School of Law (KLS) began its journey in 2007. The school now offers five-year B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., and B.Sc. LL.B. honors courses, along with a one-year LL.M. and Ph.D. program. It is the first law school to offer LL.B. with six specializations: Business Law, Constitutional Law, Crime & Criminology Law, Intellectual Property Law, Taxation Law, and International Law. Separate biotechnology, chemistry, and physics laboratories have been established for B.Sc. LL.B. students within the law school premises.

The KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE) is an all-India entrance exam conducted by KIIT, Bhubaneswar. Candidates must participate in KIITEE counseling, and seats are allocated based on their entrance exam scores. The university has a dedicated KSOL Bhubaneswar placement cell that coordinates placement activities and training in soft skills, communication, group discussions, and industry engagement.
