About Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & Technology, West Bengal:

Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & Technology (GNIPST), located at 157/F, Nilgunj Road, Sahid Colony, Panihati, Kolkata, Kolkata, West Bengal 700114, was established in 2005 under the aegis of the Guru Nanak Education Trust.

The institute is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and has obtained statutory approvals from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Notably, GNIPST is the first autonomous pharmacy institute in Eastern India to be accredited by both the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

Over the years, Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & Technology has consistently featured in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings for pharmacy institutions. In the 2024 NIRF rankings, the institute secured the 87th position among pharmacy colleges in India.
