Indrashil University is a private University, established in 2018. It is located in Mehsana, Gujarat. Indrashil University (IU) has come into existence by an Act (No.10 of 2017) of the State Legislature of Gujarat as a State Private University under the Gujarat Universities Act, 2009.
As a charitable project in honour of his parents, Shri Indravadan Ambalal Modi and Smt Shilaben Modi, who lay the foundation for Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (CPL) in 1951, IU was founded by its Founding Chancellor, Dr. Rajiv I Modi.
