Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management is popularly known as GITAM located in Andhra Pradesh. The education institution was established in the year 1980. It is previously known as GITHAM College affiliated by Andhra University. It was conferred the status of deemed university in 2007. The University accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’. It is recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC). The university has three campuses – its main campus at Visakhapatnam, and the other two campuses are at Hyderabad and Bangalore.
