About University of Mysore:

Established on July 27, 1916, by Maharaja Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV, the University of Mysore is Karnataka's first public state university and India's sixth oldest, spanning 739 acres across Manasagangotri and Crawford Hall campuses. It serves over 120,000 students through 63 PG departments, 228 affiliated colleges, and six faculties: Arts, Commerce & Management, Education, Law, Science & Technology.
