PDEU was established as a Petroleum University in 2007 with a focus on fossil fuels and later emerged as India's only energy university in the year 2021, dedicated to energy education and research. Today, the university has marked its presence as a renowned institution with noteworthy national and international visibility. PDEU is aggresively contributing towards Nation's AatmaNirbharBharat Abhiyan."As there is a global quest for more efficiency through Industry 4.0, we are prepared with the opportunity of finding innovative solutions to these challenges, and becoming reservoir of knowledge for radical yet sustainable societal transformation.The Office of Dean - Research and Development provides, to entire PDEU fraternity, support from the initial stages of proposal development to grants management, publication and the transfer of technology in terms of patent and prototype.The Office of Student Activities, Involvement & Leadership complements students' academic experiences by providing services and resources that engage students in creating campus culture through social, cultural, intellectual, spiritual, athletic, recreational, artistic, political, and service opportunities. Currently it mentors and funds around 40+ student clubs which conducts around 250+ events throughout the academic year.
