In 1999, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded it a five-star accreditation. It was re-accredited in 2005 with a "A" grade, in 2012 (third cycle) with an A grade of 3.5 out of 4, and in 2020 (fourth cycle) with an “A++” and a CGPA score of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale. UGC recognized the college as a "College with Potential for Excellence." According to MHRD's National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), the college was placed 42nd in 2018 and 26th in 2017. ranking 85th in 2019, 66th in 2020, 49th in 2021, 67th in 2022, 40th in 2023, and 41st in 2024 respectively
