Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Jodhpur under the banner of the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India and under the aegis of Development Commissioner for Handlooms, came into commencement on 16th September 1993 to provide the technical manpower in the forms of Technocrats to cater for the needs of Handloom & Textile Industries.
