M.J.P. College,Which has a rich and proud heritage of academic exellence, has been established in the year 1960. The institute is affilliated to R.G.P.V. approved by AICTE and recognized by the government of M.P. It has an yearly intake of nearly 420 Regular & 60 PTDC students. Students an area of 27.50 acres located at Khandwa Town, 3 kmsaway from Railway Station & Bus stand. At present the College is conducting diploma courses, affilliated to RGPV, in 7 branches. This college is among the 15 selected colleges by ministry of human resource development department of higher education (Under centrally sponsored scheme) to get the grant for up gradation of infrastructure facilities and construction of womens hostel. Volley Ball & Basket Ball Court, Badminton Hall, Table Tenis Room and other games & sports facilities. The college has geodesic Dome (Earthquake Resistant structure) at entrance, Open Air Theatre (Capaicity 1000), Fully Air - Conditioned Audio Visual Hall (Capacity 125) provided with OHP & LCD with screen, Intercom, Internet Connectivity through Lane & Wi-Fi system, Computerized Library (2Nos.) existing of 50,000 books and above, alll equipped with a smart & hard work culture. As the College is declared autonomolus by Govt. in 2003, Internal Revenue Generation is of handsome amount through labs & various types of consultancy services provided to society.
