Rathnavel Subramaniam College of Arts and Science (RVSCAS), located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is a private, autonomous institution established in 1986. RVSCAS is affiliated with Bharathiar University and holds accreditation from NAAC with an "A+". It was granted autonomous status in 2004 by the UGC. The college is also AICTE approved and ISO 9001:2004 certified. RVSCAS is recognized as the fourth-best college in Coimbatore. In the India Today 2024 rankings, it secured 154^th   in the 'B.A.' category, 135^th  for BCA, and 170^th  for BBA.

Wi-Fi- By enabling Wi-Fi on the entire campus, RVSCAS ushered in the era of the E-revolution. Wi-Fi networks are used to distribute the Internet connection throughout the campus. Wi-Fi is available everywhere, including in libraries, conference rooms, cafeterias, and dorms. It is not just in classrooms.

Cafeteria- On the college's grounds, there is a clean, spacious cafeteria that can accommodate 450 people and serves a variety of breakfast and lunch fare, including baked goods. It offers a range of meals to College employees and students at discounted prices.

Conference hall- Five conference halls/auditoriums with ample of seating are available for meetings, conferences, symposiums, seminars, and other events. All campus events and cultural festivals are held in the "Kalam" Hall, a 1000-seat auditorium.

Library- The Srimathi Padmavathi Memorial Central Library, which occupies 13101 square feet and was constructed in accordance with international standards, currently houses 37824 volumes of literature covering a wide range of topics. Basic sciences, humanities, computer science, electronics, commerce, life sciences, psychology, Tamil, English, and Hindi, as well as business administration and social sciences, all have specialized collections of books, journals, and non-book materials, some of which are rare and priceless. 63 national and international print publications, packages of e-journals (EBSCO, NDLI, INFLIBNET, N-LIST, CMIE, EPW), e-books, and theses are subscribed to by the Srimathi Padmavathi Memorial Central Library. Videos has a good selection of Floppies and CDs in a variety of fields.
Gym- An additional essential feature on the college campus is the gym. All of the necessary exercise equipment is available at the campus gym.

Transport- For staff and students' commutes, the college operates a fleet of buses separately. Buses come with a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and other safety equipment. In and around the districts of Coimbatore and Tirupur, the college offers transportation to various sites. Field trips, environmental tours, industrial visits, and recruitment are just a few of the extracurricular, recreational, and co-curricular activities that make use of this transportation service.

Sports- The establishment of a full-fledged Center for Sports and Wellness aims to inspire students with a sense of sportsmanship.
