SGR Institutions was established in 1991, by the SGR Technical and Educational Society (Regd), which was established in 1985. formed by the coming together of professionals in different fields to expose a noble cause of providing quality education.Dr.Syamala Reddy College Of Nursing and School under the above SGR Technical & Educational Society.SGR Institutions best and excellent extraordinary high-quality education system. It is housed in a spacious 8-story integrated complex with a floor space of 2,85,000 sq. ft., which incorporates complete digital facilities for Class rooms,seminor/conference halls,250 seated auditorium,laboratories,admistration office,staff room,contemporary teaching aids etc that simulated students learning. We are having a good library with more than 7000 academic books separately arranged for Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Civil and Mechanical Engineering. We are getting periodicals, Technical & Scientific magazines, Journals both National which is next to the library hall. And Also General knowledge books, Encyclopedia, etc. supported with the latest dictionaries and grammar, Business &Communication books, Library activities. Library cards will be distributed to the students and they can take two library books at a time & after returning the same. They can take two more books. Whenever there are no classes & during the library hours they can use the reference library, Which is placed in the main library itself and maintain perfect silence. Kannada and English daily newspapers are added to the library every day.
