The Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram (IIITDM Kancheepuram) is a public institution established in 2007 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It was declared an Institute of National Importance (INI) in July 2011, becoming the first IIIT to receive this status. The institute aims to pursue design and manufacturing-oriented engineering education, research, and promote the competitive advantage of Indian products in global markets.

IIITDM Kancheepuram is recognized by both UGC (the University Grant Commission) and AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).
