The Medical Council of India has acknowledged the college, and it is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), located in Nashik. Spread across more than 33 acres, it is the first medical college to be situated in the Jalgaon District. In order to promote a comprehensive educational experience, the tranquil and spacious campus has academic buildings, a teaching hospital, hostels, staff quarters, playgrounds, and other necessary facilities.

DUPMC offers the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program, which is the cornerstone of its academic offerings.
