Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai – Scholarships

The Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai offers various categories of scholarships to both its undergraduate and postgraduate students.

• Institute Free Studentship Scholarship: Awarded to 10% of the undergraduate students whose annual family income is less than INR 5 lakhs for UR and INR 10 lakhs for SC/ST.

• Merit-cum-means scholarships: These scholarships are based on merit and financial need, and they are offered to high-achieving students

• Institute Fellowship to PG Students: This scholarship is provided to the students who are pursuing M. Tech without any sponsorship for 21 months by the institute. Students need to have a GATE score for availing this scholarship.

• Institute SC/ST Scholarship: This scholarship is for SC/ST students with a family income less than INR 4.5 LPA. Students should have a CGPA of 6.0 to avail this scholarship.
