Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai offers Scholarships to meritorious students who need financial support to pursue his/her education.

SIST, Chennai also offers scholarships for the following category of students:

• Children of Defence Personnel
• Children of Destitute Women and War Widows
• Children of Prison inmates.
• Meritorious wards of the non-teaching staff of SIST.

Scholarships are granted based on various factors like Family background, the performance of the students in the qualifying examination, and the Common Entrance Test conducted by SIST, Chennai.

Dr.Jeppiaar Remibai Merit Scholarship

Unlike the above category of Scholarships, Dr.Jeppiaar Remibai Merit Scholarship offered by SIST, Chennai is based on the only performance of the students and not on the background or otherwise to encourage and motivate the meritorious students to achieve further excellence in their academic career.

3 (three) Rank Holders based on the SIST Exam results of each Branch shall be granted Scholarships as per the following percentage of fee waiver, with a condition that the student who got the scholarship shall obtain a minimum score of 75% (semester 1 to 5) to continue to avail the scholarship.

1^st Rank holder of each Branch: 30% 

2^nd Rank holder of each Branch: 20%           

3^rd Rank holder of each Branch: 10%
