NEET 2016 Entrance Exam: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET 2016) phase 2 on 14th July 2016 for admission to MBBS/BDS course. After Honourable Supreme Court decision on NEET dated 9th MAY, 2016 candidates who participated in NEET-2016 Phase 1 examination conducted on 1st May 2016 they can appear in NEET-2016 Phase 2, but with a condition that they have to give their NEET Phase 1 candidature. The result for both the phases will be declared on August 17, 2016. NEET will be only one test to take admission in MBBS and BDS programmes, states are not allowed to conduct any separate medical test.
NEET 2016 will be conducted in a pen and paper based mode at various centres in India. Candidates who are appearing in NEET 2016 exam can check below for the eligibility criteria, exam pattern, procedure to fill application form, important dates, answer key, cutoff etc.
NEET 2016 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must satisfy the below mentioned eligibility criteria for applying NEET 2016.
Candidates must be either citizen of India or Overseas citizen of India(OCI) are Eligible to appear for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET 2016).
Candidates required to secure at least 50% marks in qualifying exam along with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology. For SC/ST/Other candidates the minimum secured marks is 40%.
Applicant must be at least 17 years old as on December 31, 2016. The age limit is 25 years for general and 30 years for SC / ST / OBC category candidates
Candidate must born on or between:
(a) 01-01-87 to 01-01-2000 (SC/ST/OBC)
(b) 01-01-92 to 01-01-2000 (Other Category)

NEET 2016 Phase 2 Application Fees:
The NEET UG 2016 application fee is specified for General and OBC category candidate is 1000/- and for SC/ST/PH category candidates it is Rs. 500/-.
Procedure to Submit NEET 2016 Phase 2 Application Form

Find the link to ‘apply online’ and click the same.
Read the important instructions and complete first part of your application which is online registration.
After successfully completion of the online registration, please note down the registration number.
Once you fill and submit the online application form, you’ll be automatically redirected to fee payment page.
Choose the mode of payment and make necessary payment.
Candidates who haven’t received their online generated confirmation page their applications will be treated as cancelled.
NEET 2016 Phase 2 Exam Pattern:
There will be one paper consist of 180 objective type questions.
Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates can choose either English or Hindi as language of the question paper.
Exam duration will be of 3 hours.
Every question will carry 4 marks and one mark gets deducted from the total for each incorrect answer.
NEET 2016 Admission Procedure
The authority will prepare an all India and state wise merit list for all qualified aspirants according to their marks in the exam. Candidates will be further admitted to MBBS/BDS programmes according to their rank in the merit list and reservation policies.
NEET 2016 Admit Card
The admit card of Phase 1 of NEET 2016 has been released on April 7, 2016. The admit card of Phase 2 of NEET 2016, scheduled to be conducted on July 24, 2016, will be released, tentatively, in the month of July, 2016. To download the NEET 2016 admit card, candidates will have to enter their registration number and date of birth.
NEET 2016 Results:
The result of NEET Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be declared on August 17, 2016. The result will be declared for those candidates only who will secure the qualifying marks in the entrance exam. The qualifying mark for the general category candidates is 50%, while the qualifying mark for SC/ST/OBC categories is 40%. Further, for persons with locomotory disability of lower limbs, minimum of 45% marks for Gen-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required to qualify the NEET 2016 exam.
NEET 2016 Counselling:
Candidates who qualified in the medical test will further need to attend the counselling process. Online counselling is going to be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services in the month of July, 2016. Candidates need to attend the counselling procedure according to their rank in the merit list. Counselling schedule will be updated soon after release of its official notification.
