The name “Baldwin,” of Germanic royal origin, means “Bold Winner” –a spirit consistently mirrored in our journey.
The Baldwin School for Girls was established in 1880, in Bangalore and continues to offer quality education to Girls.
Recognizing the growing need for higher education for women, thePre-University Course (PUC) section was introduced in 1991, and the Degree section was added in 1995.
The institution is now a symbol of the triumph of tradition and individual talent, the fruit of Loyalty and Service emanating from the warm, God fearing heart of John Baldwin and other noble souls that led to its phenomenal growth.
