National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The Council centrally run and regulates academics for B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration and nine other structured courses of study that are imparted at the existing 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 20 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 01 Public Sector and 14 Private Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT.

Quality of education and training provided by the Institutes help students to emerge as professionally qualified persons for hospitality and other allied service sectors. The Council has trained more than 80,000 Hospitality Managers, Executives and other operational persons. Its alumni from affiliated Institutes occupy key positions in hospitality industry as well as in teaching institutions both in India and abroad.

NCHMCET JEE 2018 Application Form

NCHMCET JEE 2018 application fee for online and offline application mode is different. Candidates will be allowed to make fee payment both through online modes including Credit/ Debit card or net banking as well as through Demand Draft.

Online Process:

  • Click on official link of NCHMCET application form
  • Register with valid e-mail id and password.
  • Remit the application fee for NCHMCET JEE before proceeding to fill in the application form
  • Fill in the NCHMCET JEE application form including personal details, academic qualification, and other required information
  • Upload scanned copy of photograph and Signature
  • Submit the application form of NCHMCET JEE and get print out for future references

Offline process: You can go and get the application through the designated centers of NCHMCT. Fill out the application and pay accordingly.

NCHM JEE 2018 Application Fee – Online Mode

  • GEN or OBC Category Candidates – Rs. 800/-
  • SC/ST/PD Category Candidates – Rs. 400/-

NCHM JEE 2018 Application Fee – Offline Mode

  • GEN or OBC Category Candidates – Rs. 900/-.
  • SC/ST/PD Category Candidates – Rs. 450/-.

NCHMCT JEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with English (core/elective/functional) as one of the subjects from a recognised board.
  • Students appearing for 10+2 can also sit for NCHM JEE 2018 on a provisional basis and are required to produce the proofs of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission
  • Candidates who want to apply for NCHM JEE 2018 exam must have got passing marks in English subject in Class 12
  • Upper age limit is 22 years as on August 1, 2018, for candidates from General and OBC category. There is will relaxation of 3 years for SC/ ST candidates making the upper age limit 25 years for them.
  • Candidates applying for the exam need to submit their physical fitness certificate after getting it approved from a registered medical practitioner in the format given on the official website

NCHMCET JEE 2018 Admit Card

The NCHMCET2018 admit cards will be available online on the official website. NCHMCT JEE 2018 admit cards will be available from 3rd week of April 2018 to download. NCHMCT Admit card will not be delivered to candidate via courier or post services. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without admit card.

NCHMCET JEE 2018 Result

The results of NCHMCT JEE 2018 will be announced in 3rd week of May 2018. The results will be uploaded on their official website and can be checked from there. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in NCHMCT JEE written test.

  • The result will be displayed

NCHMCET JEE 2018 Counselling

The counselling will be based on the merit. There will be three rounds of counselling and the details of which will be available on the official website i.e. in the third week of May 2018.

Activities in Counselling:

  • Checking of eligibility of applicants
  • Verification of documents
  • Deposit of counselling and first-semester fee
  • Opportunity to choose the colleges available at the time of counselling as per the student’s AIR
  • Aspirants can give as many choices of institutes as per their preferences
  • No Group Discussion (GD) or Personal Interview (PI) will be involved in the selection process

NCHMCET JEE Preparation Tips

  • English language has maximum number of questions so it’s important to study English even if your language skills are good
  • Revise English grammar focusing on Class 10th and Class 12th
  • Increase your vocabulary drastically and pay attention to spellings as questions do come to identify correct/incorrect spellings
  • Other important topics in English include one word substitutions, finding errors and reading comprehension
  • Use advanced level vocabulary books and basic grammar books
  • For numerical ability and scientific aptitude study basic concepts from NCERT Class 10 books
  • Select reference books/ question books carefully so you do not end up studying more than required
  • Practice puzzles for reasoning and logical deduction section
  • Read current affairs regularly to prepare for General knowledge section and to improve vocabulary
  • Aptitude for Service sector requires no real preparation, on the spot logical thinking will help you clear the section
