National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The Council centrally run and regulates academics for B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration and nine other structured courses of study that are imparted at the existing 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 20 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 01 Public Sector and 14 Private Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT. Quality of education and training provided by the Institutes help students to emerge as professionally qualified persons for hospitality and other allied service sectors. The Council has trained more than 80,000 Hospitality Managers, Executives and other operational persons. Its alumni from affiliated Institutes occupy key positions in the hospitality industry as well as in teaching institutions both in India and abroad.

NCHMCT JEE 2021 Application Form

NCHMCTJEE 2021 application fee for online and offline application mode is different. Candidates will be allowed to make fee payment both through online modes including Credit/ Debit card or net banking as well as through Demand Draft.

Online Process:

  • Click on the official link of NCHMCT application form
  • Register with valid e-mail id and password.
  • Remit the application fee for NCHMCTJEE before proceeding to fill in the application form
  • Fill in the NCHMCTJEE application form including personal details, academic qualification, and other required information
  • Upload scanned copy of photograph and Signature
  • Submit the application form of NCHMCTJEE and get print out for future references

NCHMCT JEE 2021 Application Fee – Online Mode

  • GEN or OBC Category Candidates – Rs. 800/-
  • SC/ST/PD Category Candidates – Rs. 400/-

NCHMCTJEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with English (core/elective/functional) as one of the subjects from a recognised board.
  • Students appearing for 10+2 can also sit for NCHMCTJEE 2021 on a provisional basis and are required to produce the proofs of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission
  • Candidates who want to apply for NCHMCTJEE 2021 exam must have got passing marks in English subject in Class 12
  • Upper age limit is 22 years as on August 1, 2021, for candidates from General and OBC category. There is will relaxation of 3 years for SC/ ST candidates making the upper age limit 25 years for them.
  • Candidates applying for the exam need to submit their physical fitness certificate after getting it approved from a registered medical practitioner in the format given on the official website.

  • The exam will not be organized in pen and paper form and will be conducted online mode only.
  • Question papers will be available in Hindi and English language
  • Every correct answer will have one mark
  • Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be there for each wrong answer.

Reasoning: Alpha Numeric Sequence Puzzle, Alphabet Test, Arithmetical, Reasoning, Classification, Clocks & Calendars, Data Sufficiency, Deriving Conclusions from Passages, Direction and distance Sense Test, Inserting the Missing Character, Time sequence test, Analytical reasoning, Cause and effect, Input and output arrangements, Seating arrangements, Coded inequalities, Decision making, Logical Sequence of Words, Logical Venn Diagrams, Puzzle Test, Series Test, Syllogism, Analogies/Decision-making, Coding/Decoding, Assertion and reason Statement and course of action, Non- verbal reasoning will include sense test, odd figures, analogy.

NCHMCT JEE syllabus 2021

 

NCHMCT JEE 2021 Admit Card

The NCHMCT2021 admit cards will be available online on the official website. NCHMCTJEE 2021 admit cards will be available from 3rd week of April 2021 to download. NCHMCTAdmit card will not be delivered to the candidate via courier or post services. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without admit card.

NCHMCTJEE 2021 Result

The results of NCHMCTJEE 2021 will be announced on May 2021. The results will be uploaded on their official website and can be checked from there. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in NCHMCTJEE written test.

  • The result will be displayed

NCHMCTJEE 2021 Counselling

The counselling will be based on merit. There will be three rounds of counselling and the details of which will be available on the official website i.e. www.nchmcounselling.nic.in in the third week of May 2021.

Activities in Counselling:

  • Checking of eligibility of applicants
  • Verification of documents
  • Deposit of counselling and first-semester fee
  • Opportunity to choose the colleges available at the time of counselling as per the student’s AIR
  • Aspirants can give as many choices of institutes as per their preferences
  • No Group Discussion (GD) or Personal Interview (PI) will be involved in the selection process.

NCHMCT JEE Preparation Tips

  • English language has a maximum number of questions so it’s important to study English even if your language skills are good
  • Revise English grammar focusing on Class 10th and Class 12th
  • Increase your vocabulary drastically and pay attention to spellings as questions do come to identify correct/incorrect spellings
  • Other important topics in English include one-word substitutions, finding errors and reading comprehension
  • Use advanced level vocabulary books and basic grammar books
  • For numerical ability and scientific aptitude study basic concepts from NCERT Class 10 books
  • Select reference books/ question books carefully so you do not end up studying more than required
  • Practice puzzles for reasoning and logical deduction section
  • Read current affairs regularly to prepare for General knowledge section and to improve vocabulary
  • Aptitude for Service sector requires no real preparation, on the spot logical thinking will help you clear the section
  • Attempt ALL questions in 'aptitude' for service sector as even the wrong answer will score you +0.25 marks
  • Increase your vocabulary and think logically and you will sail through the examination.
