GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST - GPAT 2020 is a national level entrance examination for entry into M.Pharm programmes. Till 2018, it was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) annually, as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The Test will now be conducted by the NTA. 

GPAT 2020 exam facilitates institutions to select suitable Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Masters (M.Pharm) program. The GPAT exam is a three-hour computer-based online test which is conducted in a single session. The GPAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of Pharmacy are also given on the basis of the GPAT score. The GPAT 2020 shall be conducted on 28th January 2020.

GPAT 2020 Exam Dates

GPAT 2020 Registration and Application Form:

Registration Fee: NON REFUNDABLE

1. Candidates have to register with basic details.
2. Once registered, the candidate receives a 6 digit unique password.
3. Login using e-mail id and password
4. Pay the fee as prescribed through online/offline.
5. Once payment is successful, complete the rest of the form and submit.
6. Once submitted, changes in the application are not entertained.

GPAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must check their eligibility before applying for GPAT 2020.

1. Candidates who intend to appear for GPAT 2020 must be a citizen of India.
2. Candidate must be a graduate in Pharmacy (4 years).
3. Students who are in the final year of B.Pharmacy are also eligible.

GPAT 2020 Exam Pattern:

1. Mode of Exam: Computer-based test
2. Question Paper consists of a total of 125 questions.
3. Question Paper is a total of 500 marks.
4. Duration of test is 180 minutes (3 hours).
5. Each question carries 4 marks.
6. Negative Marking:1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

GPAT 2020 Admit Card:

Candidates can download the GPAT 2020 admit cards from 24th December 2019.  Admit card will be sent to the email id provided at the time of registration. The admit card will contain a photo, name, and signature of the candidate, GPAT Roll Number, test date, time, reporting time at the venue, venue name, venue address, and instructions for the candidate. All candidates note that admit card is a mandatory requirement to take the test.

GPAT Test Cities:

GPAT 2020 Results

GPAT 2020 results are expected to release on 7th February 2020. All the AICTE approved institutions/colleges/universities accept GPAT scores. The GPAT 2020 scores are valid only for admissions to the academic year 2020-20. Candidate can download the scorecards from the official website.

GPAT 2020 Counselling

Candidates can participate in the GPAT counselling conducted individually by the institutions. Based on GPAT scores 2020, candidates are required to take part in the admission procedure of respective institutions. Allotment of seats will depend upon candidate scores in the entrance exam.

Q1. Can I take the test from any computer?

Ans. NO.  The candidate will have to take the test on the pre-assigned computer at the test centre only.

Q2. Is there any age restriction for appearing in GPAT 2020?

Ans. NO. There is no age restriction for appearing in GPAT 2020.

Q3. How to pay my registration fee?

Ans. Candidates are required to pay the fee through online or challan/cash at any SBI branch.

Q4. Can I choose a test city?

Ans. Yes. Candidates can choose up to 3 test cities as their preference. However, actual allotment will be subject to availability of the slot in that particular city.

Q5. When will I get my admit card?

Ans. You can download and print the admit cards from 2^nd week of January 2020.
