SNAP 2018 Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a university level test conducted by Symbiosis International University for admissions into the MBA programs offered by the University and its institutes. Candidates have to register to appear in SNAP test and register for institutes based on his/her choice of program and institute. The candidates who are short listed have to attend the GE-PIWAT which is conducted individually by each one of the institute.

SNAP 2018 Notification:

 

Online applications of SNAP 2018 will be released in 28th August 2018. SNAP 2018 Exam held in 16th December 2018.

SNAP 2018 Application Form:

Test Fee: Non Refundable          

The test fee is Rs 1750 /- non-refundable

Mode of Payment:

Online Payment: Credit Card / Net Banking

Challan/Cash Payment: Axis Bank or Indian Bank Challan. Pay the fee in cash at any branch of Axis Bank or Indian Bank. Select Challan or Cash Payment option in “Make Payment” tab and print challan.

Demand Draft: Obtain a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1750/- from any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune. Select Demand Draft Payment option in “Make Payment” tab and print DD advice form and fill the details of DD.

How to Apply:

1) Candidates have to visit the official website and register online by providing required details.

2) Fill the application form with personal and academic details.

3) Select the program and institute for which candidate is applying.

4) Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature.

5) Submit the application form and pay the fee in the above mentioned modes before the stipulated time period.

6) Send the signed DD advice form and DD (or) signed Symbiosis Challan copy to below address:

7) Any changes in application form will be allowed only up to closing date of registration. No changes will be allowed after the closing date.

SNAP 2018 Eligibility:

1) Candidates should be Indian Nationality.

2) Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign National (FN), and Non Resident Indian (NRI) candidates are also eligible.

3) Candidate must complete their graduation from any of the statutory or recognized university or institute.

4) Candidates must secure at least 50% of marks for general and 45% of marks for SC/ST.

5) Every program or programme eligibility varies according to the rules and regulation of the institute.

6) Any candidate who obtained degree from Foreign University, documents must be verified from AIU and get the equivalence certificate before joining in any of the institutes.

SNAP 2018 Exam Pattern:                                                     Duration: 120 minutes

1) Mode: Computer-based test

2) Duration: The exam is for 120 minutes.

3) There are a total of 150 questions. Each question carries 1 mark.

4) The question paper is for 150 marks.

5) All questions are objective type questions.

6) Negative marking: For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted.

7) Candidate must use Blue or Black ball point pen only.

SNAP 2018 Admit Cards:

Candidates must download the SNAP 2018 Test Admit Card from the SNAP official website. Admit card will be made available from 1st December 2018 tentatively. Admit Card along with Photo Identity proof should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test. Candidate must paste a latest passport size, coloured photograph on the Admit Card at the place provided for before appearing for the test. Candidates should note that admit cards will not be sent in post or mail.

SNAP 2018 Results 

SNAP 2018 Results are expected to release on 2nd week of January 2019Candidates can check the SNAP official website for results. Score card will be made available after declaration of results. Candidates should note that score cards will not be sent in post or mail.

SNAP 2018 Counselling Procedure:

GE-PIWAT: Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test

1) Short listing for GE-PIWAT: Candidates will be shortlisted for GE-PIWAT based on their overall SNAP Percentile. Please check the respective institute website for information and dates of GE-PIWAT.

2) Merit List: Merit List will be based on the following parameters:

3) Category-wise cut off for Merit List and Wait List will be displayed on the website of the respective institute.

4) It is mandatory to attend all components / tests of GE-PIWAT to be eligible for admission to any PG programmes.

5) Only candidates who attend all components / tests of selection process (GE-PIWAT) shall be considered as eligible for generation of merit / wait / reject list.

6) Candidates who remain absent for any one of the component / test will be considered as ineligible for selection process of any of the PG degree programme of SIU.

Top MBA Colleges in India Accepting SNAP 2018 Score

SNAP 2018 General Instructions;

1) Candidates are required to report at the Test Centre before an hour for completeds verification and other formalities.

2) Latest coloured passport size photograph should be pasted on the Admit Card at the place provided for.

3) Candidates must bring the following along with them:

a) Admit Card

b) Photo identity: Passport, Driving license, College/Institute Identity Card, Credit card with photograph, Voter ID Card, Pan Card, AADHAR Card (UID).

c) Blue/Black ballpoint pen

4) Cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built in calculators/ memory or any electronics gadgets will not be allowed in the examination hall.

5) An authorized person from Symbiosis International University will verify and authenticate your Admit Card against the photo-id on the day of the test. Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further GE-PIWAT processes.

6) Candidates should note that an authenticated Admit Card is an important document without which the candidate will not be permitted to appear for further selection processes of SIU.

7) If admit card is lost, a duplicate Admit Card will not be issued. It should be retained till the admission process is over.

8) The Test Booklet will be distributed just before the starting time of the Test. The candidate must ensure that the booklet is sealed. If the seal is found broken or tampered with, please bring this matter to the notice of the invigilator immediately.

9) Check immediately that all the pages of the booklet are in order. In the rare event of the Test Booklet being defective, bring it to the notice of the invigilator immediately who will arrange for the replacement of Test Booklet if required.

10) The candidate will not be allowed to leave the hall till the test is over and until the Invigilator has collected the answer OMR sheet and Question Booklet.
