Nearly five decades ago Charutar Arogya Mandal was established as a venture of hope.

The Mandal was founded by the late Dr. H. M. Patel, former Union Home and Finance Minster, whose dream was to offer comprehensive, compassionate health care to everyone and anyone who needed it.

The Charutar Arogya Mandal was formed in 1972 as a non-profit Trust and a Society; to work in the area of health care and education. Dr. Patel's legacy, Solace for the Suffering, drives all our efforts in health care and education activities. The Trust’s main objective, as enshrined in its Constitution, is to make health care facilities accessible and affordable to the people of Gujarat.

The Institutions of the Mandal are located in Karamsad, the Karmboomi of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, “Iron Man of India”.

Spread over a sprawling green campus of 100 acres, the Trust’s activities are focused on the following four areas and guided by their respective Boards of Management in Education, Patient care, Research and Public health.

The Government of Gujarat has approved our Private University status and notified our Trust to commence a State Private University named “BHAIKAKA UNIVERSITY’’ under the State Private University Act 2009.

B.Sc.	Medical	Rs. 1,50,000.00	Students should have cleared their class XIIth exam from a recognised Board in Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% to 60%
MD	Medical	-	MBBS with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
M.S	Medical	-	M.B.B.S degree from a medical college recognized
M.Sc.	Medical	Rs. 1,16,000.00	Students should have done either Engineering or BSc in any of the Science subjects
M.Sc Nursing	Medical	Rs. 2,00,000.00	Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field
MPT	Medical	Rs. 5,00,000.00	BPT or equivalent
PBD-Nursing	Medical	Rs. 25,000.00	Minimum educational qualification required to pursue this course is – completed GNM or B.Sc. Nursing course or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course from a recognized university/college/institute.
PGD	Medical	Rs. 25,000.00	Graduation from the recognized university
Diploma Medicine	Medical	Rs. 50,000.00	10+2 (PCM, PCB) from the recognized University.
M.B.B.S	Medical	-	Candidates must have passed Class XII/higher secondary/pre-university qualifying examination with Science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Zoology/Botany. They also must have studied English as the main subject for their qualifying examination.
BPT	Medical	Rs. 7,20,000.00	A prospective candidate needs to pass HSC examination conducted by GSHSEB or an equivalent exam, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects of study.
B.Sc Nursing	Science	Rs. 5,88,000.00	A candidate seeking admission to the Basic B.Sc. Nursing course which is of Four years duration must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) Board with Group 'B' or Group 'AB' or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto and must have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. Candidate should be medically fit.Candidates need to complete 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology
