The Cancer Institute (W.I.A) Also known as Adyar Cancer Institute is a public charitable voluntary not-for-profit institution that is dedicated to the service of cancer patients since 1954. It is a Regional Centre for Cancer Research and Treatment and recognized as the State Cancer Institute, the apex body.  We are pioneers in cancer care from prevention to palliation, offering ethical and state-of-the -art multi-modality treatment. 

We are the first comprehensive cancer center in South India and the second one in the country.

    DM Medical - Must possess a recognized M.D. / D.N.B. degree in General Medicine, Pediatrics, or related fields. NEET SS
    M.Ch Medical - Must possess a recognized M.S. / D.N.B. in Surgery / ENT / Orthopedics (as applicable). NEET SS
    B.Sc. Medical - Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Higher Secondary (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Mathematics as subjects.
    Ph.D Medical - Master’s degree (M.Sc. / M.D. / M.Phil. or equivalent) in relevant subject with at least 55% marks.
    Fellowship Program in Medicine Medical - A valid MBBS degree is a common prerequisite for most fellowship programs. Some advanced fellowships may require a postgraduate degree such as MD, MS, or DNB.
