Visionary leaders like Sri Konda Venkata Ranga Reddy, Sri Suravaram Pratap Reddy, and Sri Madapati Hanumantha Rao recognized that education was the key to breaking the chains of ignorance and inequality. Their relentless efforts in the pursuit of freedom, education, and mother tongue literacy led to the founding of Andhra Vidyalaya High School, the first Telugu medium school in the Nizam ’s dominion. This movement later gave birth to A.V. College in 1968. What began as a modest institution has now grown into one of the most prestigious centers for learning, shaping generations of students.
