Haveri Institute of Medical Sciences, Haveri set foot in the district of Haveri in the year 2022-23 with 150 MBBS students is an autonomous institute spanning across 56 acres of land under the Govemment of Karnataka. It is recognized by National Medical Council, New Delhi and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Kamataka. For the purpose of having hospital it is annexed with District Hospital, Haveri having a capacity of 330 beds which will be increased to 500 — 550 bed in near short time. Admissions are through NEET UG.
