The K.V. Ustad Darul Hidaya Orphanage Arts and Science College for Women was initially a coeducational institution. However, in 2012, it was transformed into a fully-fledged women’s college, prioritizing a holistic education that addresses the mental, physical, and moral development of its students. This transformation aims to prepare and empower students to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world and to equip them to take their rightful place in society with confidence and poise.In 2015, several new undergraduate courses were introduced, including BBA, psychology, geology, and chemistry. The college further expanded its academic offerings with the introduction of M.Sc. Physics and M.Com. programs in 2017, an M.Sc. in Psychology in 2022, and a B.A. in English in 2023.To become a center of excellence in higher education by imparting value-based quality education to women, empowering them to become economically independent, and fostering their commitment to building a strong nation.To empower women by inculcating the core values of truth and righteousness, ensuring quality in the teaching and learning process, and promoting co-curricular activities for their psychological well-being, economic independence, social commitment, and national development.
