The Kurukshetra Institute of Technology and Management (KITM), offers various programmes such as M.Tech, B.Tech, BBA, MBA. KITM is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and Department of Technical Education (DTE) and established by the well known Shanti Devi Educational Trust (SDET), Haryana. KITM is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.  KITM is the select channel partner for IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur to provide with its web-based distance learning programmes.The KITM embraces numerous active and advanced research programmes such as NPMASS, a nationwide project and also conceived MEMS-based sensors for ISRO, IGCAR and DRDO. The inspiration to provide all-round development to its students is retrieved from their aim that is 'To reach the forefront of technical and management education by creating highly targeted professional leadership by meaningful transformation of mind and spirit.' The Kurukshetra based institute has a campus that is spread over 20 acres. The KITM has well-organized training & placement cell, provide real-life exposure to the students, industrial visits are organized and senior executives from the corporate world are invited to address the students. KITM provides hostel facilities for both Boys, Girls and also provides facilities such as the cafeteria and shopping complex in the campus.
