Lorven Educational Centre came into being in the year 2001. This institution is the brain child of a group of academicians who initially created a trust – Lord Venkateshwara Ladies Educational and Welfare Trust in 2000. After their long and illustrious career in the education field, the members of this trust decided to build an educational institution to serve students in rural and suburban areas. LORVEN, a name given in reverence to the Lord thus came to be built in Chandapura, Anekal Taluk, Bangalore suburban district.It is fortunate that beside being situated in a peaceful rural area, the college is within 5 kms distance of electronic city the software hub of Bangalore. The Bommasandra Industrial area and Attibele Industrial Area are also closely located. Chandapura, a fast growing locality, is well connected to all parts of the Bangalore city. The college is thus able to attract students from the city besides the neighboring districts.The college is growing under the able administration of its founders and has taken great strides in creating infrastructural facilities as well as equipping itself to handle different courses offered by it. It is sure to progress further in the coming years.
