The Mangala School of Nursing was established in the year 2006. The school is located in Mangalore, a beautiful city of Southern Coastal Karnataka. The city is not only famous for its industrial developments but also for its educational activities with many educational institutions in and around Mangaluru .

Mangala Nursing Home (now known as Mangala Hospital) which is the parent hospital established in the year 1988 has now, developed as a 250 bedded Multispecialty hospital, which caters patients from cross section of the socio-economic stratum by providing latest high-tech equipments handled by professionals.
