The Microtek College of Management & Technology, popularly known as MCMT, was founded in 2000. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, New Delhi, and the Quality Council of India (QCI) have duly approved MCMT,  It is one of the units of Microtek Group of Institutions, which is run by the non-profit organization Microtek Educational Society (MES), Varanasi.

The Learner Support Center of Microtek College of Management & Technology is affiliated with IGNOU.
