itte Meenakshi Institute of Technology(NMIT), Bangalore, established in 2001 and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, is now a constituent college of Nitte (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, since October 2024. NMIT is Ranked within the rank band 101-150, in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)- 2024 by Ministry of Education, Government of India. Also, NMIT is accredited with NBA (Tier-1), accorded with ‘A+’ Grade by NAAC and Platinum Grade by AICTE-CII Survey of Industry-Linked Technical Institutes 2020. NMIT, the off-campus centre of Nitte Deemed to be University is located at Yelahanka, Bangalore.

Emphasizing strong focus on research, leading to benefits for the common man and society at large, resulting in the improvement of living standards, NMIT houses 11 ‘Multi-Disciplinary Labs', in Design and Development of Small Satellites, Robotics, Nano Materials & MEMS, Design Engineering and Process Simulation, Aerospace Engineering and IoT, Power Engineering, Quantum Computing, Cyber Security, Women Empowerment, Additive Manufacturing and Centre on Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning, attracting young research talents from all over the country and abroad. NMIT is one of the first Institutions in the country to offer NCC as an ‘elective subject’ starting in the academic year 2013-14, to promote fitness and discipline among students.

NMIT is already in forefront to share the benefits of Industry-Academia collaboration. Major Industries have already setup Laboratories at our Institution to facilitate the entrepreneurs and students to do further innovations to create – ‘Self-reliant India’.

Recognized as one of the finest educational institutions in Karnataka with students from all over India and abroad, the NITTE Education Trust has a Medical Sciences Complex at Deralakatte, Mangalore. The Trust has more colleges at its second campus at Nitte and at its campuses in Bangalore. The Trust was started in 1979 and is a pioneer in the field of education. Under the banner of the trust are several institutions which include Nitte University and institutions of higher education like Engineering, Management, Medicine, Dental, Pharmaceuticals, Paramedical, and several other schools in Mangalore.

Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology Bangalore is one of the top colleges in Bangalore which offers a great experience in engineering life which is mostly wanted to the young aspirants. To reach the college we have many options from throughout the city. The place called bangulur will be there where we can find some shops and eateries , it's just 3kms from the institute .

College is neither good nor bad. the campus size is 23 acres. the campus is beautiful. In terms of study, college is neither good nor bad. Faculty is are not so good, few teachers are supportive and few are just for completing your course anyhow and not supportive.
