The NTPC Education and Research Society (NEARS) is actively promoted by NTPC Limited. To develop human resources for the whole energy sector, the NTPC School of Business (NSB) was established in 2014 under the aegis of NEARS.

Two AICTE-approved programs are offered by NTPC School of Business (NSB), Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Executive (PGDM-E) and Post Graduate Diploma in Energy Management (PGDM-EM). The purpose of these courses is to improve management education and practice at all levels of decision-making in the field of energy management.
